Nov `13 What she says…

… really hit me.

Artist, writer, dancer and teacher Miranda Tufnell says in her book A widening field :
” For me there has never been one way. I have always needed to explore between writing, moving, music, and visual images; between working with others in bodywork or movement, and working creatively in my own work; shifting between the poetry of language, the sensousness of making, and the experience of the body, in order to touch into the illusive yet tangible riches of the unfolding moment.”

I am very gratefull for these words, as I  feel very alike in my way of thinking, working and living.

To me this living proces of learning and making feels similar to a tree, that grows by developing different roots and  branches; reaching out to explore the world underneath and around him.
